aww Itsuka…your song gave me some insight I could have not otherwise known. My heart goes out to you and everyone in Japan. How scary this all must be. 🙁
仕方のないこととわかっている。
去っていくのも一つの選択。
でも私はここにいいる。今ここでできることをする。
航空会社で働いているので、外国へ、西へ、南へ去っていく、
帰っていく人々を日々見送っています。
その為に食事を取る暇もなく働く日々を過ごしている・・・。
家族の安否がわからないまま働く同僚もいます。
きっとすぐにでも飛んでいって無事を確認したいだろうに。
私自身は通勤手段の確保が難しく、家を離れて会社の近くに仮住まいを
する準備をしています。会いたい人にも会えない、会える日を心待ちにして
メールとほんの少しの電話で繋がる毎日を過ごしています。それでも会社が
私を必要だというのなら、もう少し、あと少し、がんばろう。。。
そう自分を励まして毎日起きて、スーツに身を包んで会社へ向かいます。
イツカさんの歌詞にあるような様々な思いを抱えながら。
今の社会を（大きな被害は無いけれど、元通りではない毎日を過ごす人々が
暮らす社会）、東京を、等身大で表していてしみてきます。

Most of my friends who went southward for safety came back to Tokyo. Although we are still worried about radioactivity, we're getting a little energy back! Again, thanks to my friends who cheered us up from across the sea.
